The PC-MG is a SNMP-based Network Management System for Microwave Radio and Fiber Optic Transmission Systems. It supports Configuration Management, Fault Management, Performance Management, and Security Management. It is available for both small size networks (standalone system) and medium size to large transmission networks、as well. For bigger networks, Regional (Area) Servers and Centralized Server(s) can be set up (Manager of Managers.) Deployment of Primary Server and Backup Server (Live/Standby Servers), for higher reliability environment, it is available. Security is one important issue in the PC-MG. Displaying of detailed information of each Network Element is presented after opening the respective application.
