Macro Remote Radio Head (RRH-m) is an outdoor unit connected to Node B or Radio Server enabling high integration with plural interface for RF functionality. Pico and Indoor RRH (RRH-pi) is a cost efficient solution for indoor deployment in micro and pico cells. Feeder loss in the downlink direction is diminished by the short distance between RRH antenna connector and RRH. OPEX reduces due to lower power consumption, and optimization in operation and maintenance. It offers easiness and flexibility for configuration of sectors and additional installation to antenna sites, providing sufficient indoor coverage and better network quality.
