RRH with low power consumption boosts RF capacity in all RS and Node B. RS880 supports up to 6 RRH. One RS can support several Macro RRH, Micro, and Pico RRH. This asymmetrical configuration is appropriate for a complex cell. The flexibility and scalability of RS/RRH contribute to CAPEX and OPEX reduction. Maximum fiber length is up to 50km.




RS/RRH supports all features of Node B as well. When introducing HSUPA/HSDPA, it can be remotely upgraded by SW through EMS. We plan to support all 3GPP features with RS/RRH. Mix configuration is available; Coaxial feeding and RRH can exist in a single Node B. All conventional Node B support exclusive RRH configuration as well as RS.
